Version R5#1

June 22, 2012

The new iceScrum release is here!

It comes with a lot of bug fixes:

  1. When changing a feature color, this is not always changed on stories.
  2. In the wizard, an error is produced if the role of the project creator is changed to developer.
  3. The post-it color in the form for creating features is not reinitialized when several are created in a row.
  4. When the last task in a story becomes done, and the preferences indicate that the story state should indeed  become done, the page must be reloaded to see the result.
  5. The number of hours remaining in the sprint is not displayed in the title bar of the sprint plan table view.
  6. When updating a feature in the table view, “NaN” is displayed instead of the correct value.
  7. An export having stories with acceptance tests in its sprints can’t be imported.
  8. Using IE8 (and former versions), the login page redirects to an error page (the login operation works but the redirection fails).
  9. Search on ID (stories, features) returns results that don’t match with the ID.
  10. Stories’ IDs displayed in the sprint plan’s table view are wrong.
  11. The hidden menus dropdown list sometimes disappears.
  12. Manual sprint creation doesn’t work.
  13. Activities related to tasks aren’t displayed correctly in the Dashboard.
  14. Menus which are hidden when resizing the window aren’t restored when the window is resized again.
  15. Wrong ranks in the backlog after story planning/dissociation.
  16. When changing the estimation of a story planned in a “Todo” sprint, the sprint’s capacity isn’t updated.
  17. When a team member creates comments or an acceptance tests on a story, they are published to users browsing the details view of other stories.

This version also brings improvements and new features, including a major one: iceScrum API.

  1. iceScrum API: RESTful Web Services for iceScrum. See the documentation provided by Kagilum for detailed information.
  2. Cleaner user interface: redesigned navigation bar, project title displayed in the page title, current sprint plan filter highlighted.
  3. Redirection to the last opened project on login.
  4. Redirection to the view corresponding to the first menu in the navigation bar on project opening (you can reorder the menus by drag’n drop).
  5. Task’s remaining time in sprint report.
  6. New view: task detail’s view.
  7. Empty passwords are forbidden in registration.
  8. Minor security improvements.
  9. Performances improvements.
  10. Export now includes attachments.
  11. Import now accepts zip format for export with attachments.
  12. Updated Spanish translation thanks to Adrian Moya.
